“LA REDENCIÓN SOFRO” Group begins in the Estancia “La Redención”, founded in 1884, one of the most ancient agricultural and cattle establishments in the province of Córdoba. In 1970 Marcos Rodrigué become the person in charge of the family farm an starts a process of transformation into an agricultural and cattle enterprise.

At the beginning of the `80s, Rogelio Fogante, pionner on direct Seeding in the country and a founding member of AAPRESID, joins the enterprise. This modaly of work starts to be applied in all productive areas, and the first steps in biotechnology begin.

“La Redención Sofro” initiates a farm production period and the management of third parties´s farms, permanently adding technology, research and development.

“La Redención Sofro” was formed with the evolution of this new culture and working concept, and it is today acknowledged as one of the leader enterprises in the Argentinean agricultural and cattle management .
